In 2020, Westfield Health Services approached Europe HR Solutions to support a rapid international expansion following the signing of a major partnership contract with Google.

The project required setting up operations and establishing HR and payroll structures across seven countries — Switzerland, Italy, the Netherlands, Dubai, Spain, Germany, and France — all within a very short timeframe.

Key challenges included:

• Establishing legal entities and foreign employer registrations.
• Transferring contractors from third-party suppliers to Westfield’s new entities.
• Ensuring compliance with local labor, social security, and tax regulations.
• Implementing consistent payroll, benefits, and HR processes across multiple jurisdictions.

The objective was to have a compliant, operational HR and payroll structure in place quickly to support business delivery for their new contract.

The Solution

Europe HR Solutions led the full international HR setup and transition project, providing hands-on support from strategy to implementation.
