The Challenge

In 2015, following the acquisition of TaylorMade Golf from Adidas, the newly independent company faced the complex task of transitioning more than 50 employees across 11 European countries.

The project required:

  • Managing TUPE transfers and employee communication,
  • Establishing new employment contracts, benefits, and payroll systems,
  • Ensuring compliance with local labor laws,
  • Supporting managers through a major organizational change, and
  • Building a stable and compliant HR function for the long term.

TaylorMade’s UK-based HR team sought a trusted European partner who could handle this multi-country transition with speed, accuracy, and legal precision.

The Solution

Europe HR Solutions was appointed as the HR and payroll partner for TaylorMade Golf’s European operations, initially to manage the post-acquisition transition and subsequently to provide ongoing HR support.

Our scope included:

  • Managing TUPE transfers for all employees from Adidas to TaylorMade across 11 countries.
  • Designing and implementing local employment contracts and benefit structures.
  • Establishing and coordinating multi-country payroll systems.
  • Ensuring legal and compliance alignment in each country.
  • Acting as the regional HR Business Partner (HRBP) for day-to-day HR and employee relations.
  • Supporting recruitment, onboarding, and organizational development.

Following the successful transition, Europe HR Solutions continued as TaylorMade’s HR and payroll partner for all European entities — maintaining compliance, managing payroll vendors, and providing HR guidance to the regional management teams.
